WHO WE ARE

HISTORY
AYEMP was authorized in 2015, but we have been in the field since 2012 and have a wide experience of socio-political, Religious, and cultural trends in the society. We have lived and experienced what it means to be rich and to be poor, the impact of political power, and being in a position of influence.
COMMUNITY VISION
Our vision is 'Problem Solving'. Our Country Cameroon is blessed with lots of Natural Resources (Agricultural, Mineral, Forest, Touristic & Human) but our Development and Growth Rate is still slow.

Some of the challenges facing our country that we aim to address;

• Weak private sector
• Growing level of graduate unemployment
• Poverty and Human development indicators remain among the Lowest in the world.
• The lack in the promise to achieve the MDGs.
• The crowded embassies of countries that offer greater opportunities for better livelihood.
• The illegal immigrations.
• Absence of Electricity and Pipe borne water.
• Scarcity of Essential drugs in our Health Centres
• And related.

The work of both National and International Volunteers is very fundamental for the Action For Youth Empowerment (AYEMP) to achieve their vision and goals. We presently have some national volunteers and international volunteers who are going to be joining us soon. And we hope to continue growing with your assistance.
Our volunteers bring in some level of expertise and novelty in our operations and in the general movement of AYEMP. Volunteers participate in every aspect of AYEMP operations, so if you are interested in joining the strive to achieve our mission. please do not hesitate to contact us so that we could place you in a unique role to foster the goals of AYEMP.
